How to play
- Click any cell to start — the first click is never a mine.
- The number on a revealed cell shows how many mines are among its 8 neighbors.
- If a cell is empty (no number), the safe neighboring cells reveal automatically.
- Toggle the "🚩 Flag" button (or right-click on desktop) to mark a suspected mine instead of revealing it.
- You win once every non-mine cell is revealed, or lose if you reveal a mine.
Frequently asked questions
Can the first click ever be a mine?
No. Mines are placed only after your first click, so the first cell you reveal (and its neighbors) are always safe.
How do I place flags on mobile?
Tap the "🚩 Flag" button — it switches tap mode from revealing to flagging. Tap it again to go back to normal reveal mode.
Is the best time saved?
The current game's time is shown live while you play. A won game shows the final time in the win screen.
