How to play

  1. Choose a mode — against the computer (pick a difficulty level) or two players on the same screen.
  2. Players take turns: X goes first, then O.
  3. Click an empty cell to place your symbol.
  4. Whoever lines up three symbols first — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — wins. If the board fills up with no winner, it's a draw.

Frequently asked questions

Can I beat the computer on the hardest level?

No — level 3 plays mathematically perfect (a minimax algorithm) and never loses. The best you can achieve against it is a draw. Try level 1 or 2 for a real shot at winning.

Is the score saved?

Yes, the number of X wins, O wins, and draws is saved in your browser (localStorage) and persists between visits.

Can two people play on the same phone?

Yes, choose "2 players" mode — players take turns tapping the screen, alternating X and O.
